For information on  garbage can purchases, garbage pickup schedules, problems with garbage pickup, etc, please call the above telephone number.

The county provides residential garbage collection service once per week to dispose of household trash only.

To ensure pick-up, you must place your cans roadside by 7:00 am on your pickup day.

Tips and Guidelines

  • Place your trash container out the night before your scheduled pickup to avoid missing early morning collection.

Holiday Collection

Your regular pick-up day for trash will not change unless your collection day falls on one of the following six (6) holidays:

  • New Year’s Day
  • Memorial Day
  • The Fourth of July
  • Labor Day
  • Thanksgiving Day
  • Christmas Day

If your normal collection day falls on one of the holidays listed above, then place your containers out for collection on the next business day.

Example: If Christmas Day falls on a Monday, and that is your collection day, the next day for collection will be on Tuesday.
